Opportunities to receive ashes on Ash Wednesday (February 18) at Providence College

Ashes, which mark repentance from sin and the beginning of a season of penance, are imposed as a part of Mass and as part of Liturgy of the Word (the elements of the Mass that happen before the Eucharist).

11:35 a.m. Mass (not in Mondor, but in the St. Dominic Chapel)

9 p.m. Mass (not in CCDS/Aquinas Hall, but in the St. Dominic Chapel)
